The Blackhawks put up three goals in the first two periods in a 7-1 rout of the Oilers at Rexall Place. Jonathan Toews scored twice and Patrick Kane netted his eighth goal of the season. Kris Versteeg and Marian Hossa both scored on the power play while Corey Crawford stopped 24-of-25 shots for Chicago, which has won five of six. Ben Scrivens gave up five goals in less than 23 minutes before giving way to Viktor Fasth, who made 15 saves in his place. David Perron netted the lone goal for Edmonton, which dropped its sixth straight game.
