After sitting out four of the team's last five games, Derrick Rose totaled 24 points and seven assists to lead the Bulls to a 102-91 win over the Pistons at the United Center. Jimmy Butler chipped in 19 points and Pau Gasol recorded a double-double with 17 and 15 boards. Joakim Noah also finished with a double-double, scoring 13 points and grabbing 14 rebounds for Chicago, which has won five of its last six. Josh Smith paced Detroit with 19 points and 11 boards in the loss. Greg Monroe and D.J. Augustin each added 16 as the Pistons dropped their second straight game.
The Bulls return to action on Thursday in Toronto.
