Season ends for Chicago Baseball

Christian Colon knocked in two runs to power the Royals to a 6-4 win over the White Sox in Chicago. Salvador Perez also drove in a run as the Royals finished the season 89-and-73 and with the AL's top Wild Card spot. They will play the Athletics on Tuesday with the winner advancing to the ALDS against the Angels. Casey Coleman picked up the win while Louis Coleman notched the save. Marcus Semien hit a two-run homer and knocked in three runs for Chicago, which ends the year 73-and-89. Paul Konerko ended his 18-year career with an 0-for-3 performance. Daniel Webb took the loss. Paulie played 16 years with the White Sox.

Anthony Rizzo hit a two-run home run and finished with three hits as the Cubs knocked off the Brewers 5-2 from Miller Park.  Arismendy Alcantara added two RBI and Chris Coghlan  drove in a run in the win.  Jacob Turner improved to 6-and-11 with five-plus innings of two-run ball, and Hector Rondon notched his 29th save.  The Cubs finish the season at 73-and-89.  Milwaukee was held to five hits in the defeat with Jonathan Lucroy collecting two.  Elian Herrera recorded the lone RBI.  Mike Fiers  fell to 6-and-5 after allowing three earned runs in six frames.  The Brewers conclude the season at 82-and-80.
