The 49ers jumped out to a 17-0 lead, but it wasn't enough as the Bears stormed back for a 28-20 win in the opener at Levi's Stadium. Jay Cutler and Brandon Marshall hooked up for three touchdowns. Cutler threw four total including the go-ahead score to tight end Martellus Bennett with 13:14 left in the fourth quarter. Rookie cornerback Kyle Fuller picked off Colin Kaepernick twice. Chicago bounced back from a Week One loss to the Bills and evened up its record at one. Kaepernick had three interceptions and lost a fumble. Frank Gore ran for 63 yards on 13 carries with a touchdown. The 49ers are also 1-and-1.
The Bears are in New Jersey next Monday night against the New York Jets. The Pre-Game Show begins at 7 on Newstalk 1060.
