Welington Castillo hit a two-run homer and drove in three as the Cubs doubled up the Brewers 4-2 in the opener of a three-game series at Wrigley Field. Luis Valbuena added a solo shot for the Northsiders, who snapped a two-game skid. Jacob Turner struck out seven over six-and-a-third innings of one-run ball as he upped his mark to 5-and-8. Hector Rondon closed it out for his 23rd save. Khris Davis and Gerardo Parra both hit solo homers as Milwaukee dropped its sixth straight. Jimmy Nelson allowed three runs in six frames to fall to 2-and-6 with the loss.
