Avisail Garcia went 2-for-4 with two RBI to help guide the White Sox to a 6-2 win over the Tigers in the final game of a four-game set from U.S. Cellular Field. Carlos Sanchez and Jose Abreu plated a run as Chicago improved to 3-and-3 since a seven-game losing streak. Jose Quintana threw seven innings of two-run ball to pick up the win. Rick Porcello surrendered six runs, three earned, in six-and-two-thirds innings to fall to 15-and-9 for Detroit. Victor Martinez and Ian Kinsler batted in a run for the Tigers, who had won three of four entering the game.
