Chicago Bears tight end Zach Miller is on injured reserve. He was placed on IR after injuring his left foot in Thursday's preseason game against Jacksonville. Miller was hurt in the second quarter and did not return. The fifth-year pro was competing to be the number-two tight end behind starter Martellus Bennett. Miller caught six passes for 68 yards and two touchdowns in the Bears' preseason opener against the Eagles on August 8th.
The Bears play their 3rd Pre-Season game next Friday at Seattle.
