Kyle Hendricks struck out five in seven-and-a-third shutout-innings to lead the Cubs to a 3-0 win over the Brewers at Wrigley Field. Hendricks improved to 4-and-1 and Hector Rondon closed it out for his 15th save. Anthony Rizzo blasted a solo homer while Justin Ruggiano and Arismendy Alcantara each singled in a run. Wily Peralta gave up all three runs in six-and-a-third innings of work to fall to 14-and-7 for Milwaukee, which had won four of five entering the game. Mark Reynolds tallied a pair of hits in the Brewers' six-hit effort.
