The White Sox topped the Rangers 5-3 in a rain-shortened, seven-inning contest at U.S. Cellular Field. Tyler Flowers was 3-for-3 with three RBI and a double shy of a cycle while Jose Abreu drove in two. Hector Noesi threw a complete-game and allowed one run to improve to 6-and-8 as Chicago snapped a two-game slide. Nick Martinez allowed five runs and walked three in five-plus innings of work for the loss. Rougned Odor tagged a two-run dinger in the loss and Adrian Beltre added the other RBI. The Rangers have lost four straight.
