The Twins used a nine-run eighth inning to pull away for a 16-3 victory over the White Sox at U.S. Cellular Field. Danny Santana finished 5-for-6 with four RBI for Minnesota, which has won two straight since a three-game slide. Chris Parmelee, Oswaldo Arcia and Eric Fryer hit back-to-back-to-back solo homers in the ninth. Arcia had three hits and three RBI while Fryer added three hits and drove in two. Kyle Gibson allowed three runs over seven innings to improve to 10-and-8. Jose Quintana allowed an unearned run over five frames while Javy Guerra took the loss. Dayan Viciedo hit a two-run homer for Chicago, which has lost three of five.
