Edwin Jackson tossed six innings of two-run ball to lead the Cubs in a 7-3 win over the Dodgers from Chavez Ravine. Jackson improved to 6-and-11 while Chris Coghlan hit a two-run homer and Luis Valbuena added a solo shot. Anthony Rizzo hit an RBI double for Chicago, which has won three of four. Josh Beckett gave up three runs in four-plus innings and fell to 6-and-6 for Los Angeles. Matt Kemp stayed hot with a solo homer, his fifth roundtripper in six games. The Dodgers had won seven of eight.
The Cubs will be in Colorado on Tuesday.
