Matt Holliday's first-inning homer was all Adam Wainwright needed as the Cardinals blanked the Cubs 1-0 at Wrigley Field. Wainwright improved to 13-and-5 after seven shutout innings and Trevor Rosenthal notched his 32nd save. St. Louis has won two straight since a four-game slide. Kyle Hendricks lasted six-and-a-third innings and fell to 1-and-1 for Chicago. Anthony Rizzo had a pair of hits for the Cubs, who have lost four of five.
