Matt Adams drove in four to help the Cardinals to a 6-3 win over the Cubs at Wrigley Field. A.J. Pierzynski went 3-for-4 with an RBI in his debut with St. Louis, which stopped a four-game slide. Shelby Miller allowed two runs over five-and-two-thirds innings while Randy Choate got the win and Trevor Rosenthal his 31st save. Jake Arrieta allowed two runs in six innings for Chicago while James Russell took the loss. Nate Schierholtz and Ryan Sweeney each hit solo homers for the Cubs, who have lost three of four.
