John Deere Classic Has Another First Time Winner

The John Deere Classic is known for having 1st time winners on the PGA Tour. Sunday was nothing new as Brian Harmon won the Tournament by 1 shot.

Herman shot a final round 5 under par 66 and finished the tournament at 22 under par. He is the 1st left handed golfer to win the John Deere Classic since 1973 as he takes home a 1st prize check worth $846,000.

Finishing in 2nd place for the 3rd time at the John Deere Classic was 2012 winner Zack Johnson.

3-time John Deere Classic Champion Steve Stricker started the day 1 shot off the lead. He shot a final round 1 over par 72 and 7 shots back.

Defending Champion Jordan Spieth finished 6 shots behind Harmon.
