Luis Valbuena tripled in two runs in the top of the 12th inning as the Cubs rallied to beat the Reds 6-4 at Great American Ball Park. Starlin Castro's RBI single in the eighth tied the game at four for Chicago, which overcame a 4-1 deficit to salvage the finale of the five-game series. Arismendy Alcantara went 4-for-5 with three RBI for the Cubs. Blake Parker pitched two scoreless innings for the win. Jonathan Broxton blew the save in the eighth and J.J. Hoover was tagged with the loss in the 12th for Cincinnati. Ryan Ludwick went 3-for-6 with a home run and two RBI to highlight the Reds' attack.
