The Bulls used two first-round picks in last night's draft to trade with the Nuggets for 11th overall pick Doug McDermott of Creighton. The sharp-shooter led the NCAA in scoring last season. Chicago picked Croatian center Jusuf Nurkic and Michigan State guard Gary Harris to trade.
McDermott averaged 26 points a game last season for Creighton.
(Brooklyn, NY) -- In addition to landing Doug McDermott in last night's draft, the Bulls had a second round selection. Chicago picked New Mexico center Cameron Bairstow at 49th overall. The six-foot-ten big man was named first-team All-Mountain West and helped the Lobos to the NCAA Tournament.
