The Dodgers put together a five-run sixth inning to get a 5-2 victory over the White Sox at Chavez Ravine. Clayton Kershaw benefited from the offense after pitching eight innings of two-run ball with nine strikeouts. He improved to 4-and-2 while Kenley Jansen pitched the ninth for his 17th save. All five runs Los Angeles scored were unearned with Jacob Turner knocking in two. The Dodgers had lost four of their last five. Chicago committed three errors in the contest as Jose Quintana dropped to 3-and-5. He allowed the five unearned runs over six frames. Jose Abreu returned from the disabled list and hit a two-run homer for the Sox, who have dropped three of four.
