Michal Handzus scored the game-winning goal 2:04 into double-overtime as the Blackhawks remained alive in the Western Conference Final with a 5-4 win over the Kings at the United Center. Ben Smith scored the game-tying tally early in the third period for Chicago, while Patrick Kane posted four assists. Brent Seabrook, Johnny Oduya and Brandon Saad all lit the lamp in the first period for the 'Hawks, who still trail 3-2 in the best-of-seven set. Corey Crawford made 40 saves in the victory. Jarret Stoll, Marian Gaborik, Dustin Brown and Tanner Pearson all scored for the Kings, who had won the previous three games in the series. Jonathan Quick allowed all five goals on 45 shots in defeat. Game Six is Friday in LA.
