Marcus Semien doubled in the go-ahead run in the top of the 12th inning as the White Sox clipped the Cubs 3-1 in the first of two games at Wrigley Field. The teams will also play twice at U.S. Cellular Field later this week. Alejandro De Aza walked in a run in the ninth, while Jose Abreu plated the other run for the Southsiders, who have won two in-a-row after a four-game skid. Daniel Webb picked up his third win and Matt Lindstrom earned his fifth save. Junior Lake drove in the lone run in the sixth for the Northsiders, who have dropped two straight since a three-game winning streak. Justin Grimm suffered his first loss.
