Blackhawks lose in triple overtime

Alexander Steen found the back of the net less than 30 seconds into the third overtime to lift the Blues to a 4-3 win over the Blackhawks in their Western Conference First Round series. Jaden Schwartz tied the game at three with 1:45 left in regulation for St. Louis, which takes a 1-0 series lead in the best-of-seven set. Ryan Miller allowed three goals on 42 shots for the win. Corey Crawford gave up all four goals on 52 attempts in defeat. Brent Seabrook tallied a goal and an assist for Chicago, which scored all three goals in the first period. St. Louis hosts Game Two on Saturday.
