Patrick Sharp scored the game-winner 43 seconds into overtime to lift the Blackhawks to a 3-2 win over Montreal at the United Center. Marian Hossa lit the lamp with under 50 seconds to play in regulation to send the game to OT. Corey Crawford stopped 28 shots for Chicago, which is two points back of Colorado for second in the Central Division. Jeremy Morin also scored as the Blackhawks won their fourth in-a-row. Dale Weise and Francis Bouillon both scored for Montreal, which is three points up on Tampa Bay for second in the Atlantic Division. Peter Budaj stopped 25 shots in defeat.
The Blackhawks will be in Washington Friday night.
