Leury Garcia scored on a wild pitch by Sam Deduno in the bottom of the 11th inning as the White Sox outlasted the Twins 7-6 at U.S. Cellular Field. Alexi Ramirez went 2-for-3 with a double and two RBI, while Adam Dunn connected on his first round-tripper of the season. Ronald Belisario picked up his first win in a White Sox uniform. Glen Perkins blew the save in the ninth and Deduno took the eventual loss for Minnesota. Trevor Plouffe went 3-for-5 with three RBI for the Twins, who will try to avoid the three-game sweep on Thursday.

Tony Sanchez knocked in the winning run during the bottom of the 16th inning to send the Pirates to a 4-3 win over the Cubs. Jordy Mercer and Starling Marte each had an RBI for the Pirates, who played their longest game in Pittsburgh. Stolmy Pimentel got the win after throwing four scoreless innings. Emilio Bonifacio went 5-for-7 and crossed home plate once while Luis Valbuena was 3-for-6 with two walks and an RBI in defeat. Anthony Rizzo jacked a solo home run in the 12th. Carlos Villanueva suffered the loss.
