Blackhawks look to snap 3-game losing streak tonight

The Blackhawks are back on the ice tonight as they play host to the Minnesota Wild. Chicago returns home after a three-game road trip in which it suffered losses in all three, including a 4-1 setback to Pittsburgh on Sunday. Chicago currently sits at 99 points with a 42-19-and-15 record on the season. The Blackhawks are currently seeded fifth in the West and have clinched a playoff spot.

Chicago Blackhawks captain Jonathan Toews  won't skate again during the regular season. The "Chicago Sun-Times" reports Toews will sit out the remaining six games to rest for the playoffs. The center suffered an upper-body injury on Sunday in the Hawks' loss to the Penguins. The 25-year-old has 28 goals and 40 assists in 76 games for Chicago this season.

The Blackhawks have agreed to a two-year deal with defenseman Stephen Johns. The 21-year-old was selected by Chicago in the second round of the 2010 NHL Draft. He has played at Notre Dame for the past four years, where he had 15 goals, 42 assists and a plus-nine rating in 164 career games.
