Coach Q wins #700

Corey Crawford made 23 saves for his second shutout of the season and 10th of his career, as the Blackhawks blanked the Blues 4-0 at the United Center. Chicago's Joel Quenneville became the third NHL head coach to win 700 games. Duncan Keith, Andrew Shaw, Marcus Kruger and Ben Smith all scored for the 'Hawks, who have won two-of-three. Patrick Kane is expected to be out around three weeks with a lower-body injury suffered in the second period. Ryan Miller was pulled after allowing four goals on 27 shots in just under 48 minutes of action. Brian Elliott stopped all three shots he faced the rest of the way. St. Louis had won three in-a-row and eight-of-nine coming into the contest.

Blackhawks will be at home Friday against Carolina.
