The Chicago Bears released their first injury report as they prepare to face the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night. Wide receiver Brandon Marshall did not practice yesterday due to a hamstring injury. Linebacker Lance Briggs was limited at practice. Head coach Marc Trestman says Briggs is day-to-day after missing the last eight weeks with a fractured shoulder.
The Chicago Bears have signed offensive tackle Joe Long from the Pittsburgh Steelers' practice squad. The contract is for two seasons. Long joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Rams. He is brother is former number-one pick Jake Long of St. Louis and of Bears right guard Kyle Long.
