The Blackhawks used a three-goal first period to beat the Kings 3-1 at the United Center. Marian Hossa , Kris Versteeg and Patrick Sharp all lit the lamp for the 'Hawks, who have won four of their last five. Jonathan Toews had two assists and Antti Raanta made 21 saves in the victory. Alec Martinez scored the lone goal late in the third period for LA, which had its six-game winning streak snapped. Ben Scrivens allowed all three goals on 40 shots in defeat.
The Blackhawks will be at Nashville on Tuesday night.
