The Rochelle Hubs held their annual football banquet last night as the players were recognized for the season just completed.
RTHS finished the year with a (6-5) record and a 2nd round appearance in the Class 4A Playoffs.
A number of awards were handed out last night. The Hackett MVP award went to senior Evan White. Evan was also selected All-State by the Illinois Football Coaches Association for the Class 4A team. He will received recognition for the honor during the half time of the Championship Game Friday evening at NIU in DeKalb.
The Scout Team Player of the Year went to Tariq Thomas while Ben O'Rorke received the Ellis Sportsmanship Award.
Senior Tyler Mollett has also been named Academic All-State.
