Patrick Sharp scored twice and added an assist to lead the Blackhawks in a 5-1 drubbing of the Sharks at United Center. Kris Versteeg had a goal and assist while Brandon Pirri and Jonathan Toews also scored in the win. Corey Crawford made 23 saves for Chicago, which has won five out of six. Joe Pavelski had the lone goal for San Jose in defeat. Antti Niemi halted 22 shots in the cage as the Sharks saw a three-game winning streak end.
