Blackhawks win their 4th straight game

Brandon Pirri scored the winning goal in the fourth round of the shootout as the Blackhawks clipped the Coyotes 5-4 at the United Center. Pirri also scored the tying goal in the third period for the 'Hawks, who have won four in-a-row and seven-of-eight overall. Brandon Saad, Patrick Sharp and Marian Hossa also lit the lamp and Corey Crawford made 26 saves in the victory. Michael Stone scored twice, while Shane Doan and Lauri Korpikoski added a goal each for Phoenix, which has earned at least a point in eight of its last nine games. Mike Smith stopped 48 shots but allowed two goals on four shootout attempts for the loss.

The Blackhawks are at Nashville Saturday.
