The Chicago Bears will be without quarterback Jay Cutler and linebacker Lance Briggs for Sunday's game against the Baltimore Ravens. Head coach Marc Trestman made the announcement on Wednesday. Cutler injured his ankle last Sunday in his first game back since hurting his groin in mid-October. Briggs is out with a fractured shoulder
The Chicago Bears signed safety Derrick Martin to a one-year deal on Wednesday. Martin played in five games for New England last season, recording one sack and two tackles. The seven-year veteran has appeared in 66 games with the Baltimore Ravens, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants and Pats.
