2 arrested in Ogle County burglaries

Ogle County Sheriff's police have arrested 2 area men in connection with recent burglaries which have taken place.

Last Monday, sheriff's police from Ogle and Lee counties responded to a break-in in the Ashton area. A deputy from the Ogle County sheriff's police later found 33-year old William Clark of Rochelle walking along Route 38. It was later determined that Clark was involved with the burglary.

He has also been charged with 2 business burglaries in Chana, 1 business in Creston, and a home on Route 38 in rural Rochelle.

2 search warrants were then executed at the Shangri-La Trailer park in rural Rochelle. A large amount of stolen property was recovered from several burglaries in Ogle County.

The 2nd arrest involved 30-year old Adam Orenday of Rockford. He was also allegedly involved with the 2 business burglaries in Chana, 1 in Creston, and a business in Rochelle.

Bond has been set at $100,000 for Clark and $30,000 for Orenday. Both men remain in jail in lieu of bond.
Clark returns to court on Monday for a hearing while Orenday's next appearance before a judge is next Friday in Oregon.
