Still no decision on state pension reform issue

An Illinois legislative committee remains split over a plan to fix the state's pension crisis. The state's fall legislative veto session is just a week away and Republicans and Democrats in Springfield remain unable to find a solution. A plan on the table would end the stalemate and save Illinois nearly 140-billion-dollars. Illinois state law mandates its Legislature can't even consider the plan until it is signed by six of the special committee's ten members.
