A fired hotel worker is suing her former employer in Oregon, Illinois, for allegedly violating the Americans with Disabilities Act and the Fair Labor Standards Act. The group Equip For Equality filed the lawsuit Friday on behalf of Donna Colvin who has chronic respiratory problems. She worked as a front desk clerk at the Paddle Wheel Inn. In late 2011 she was hospitalized and her doctors told her she needed to start using oxygen around the clock. Colvin says she was fired after telling her boss about the doctors' orders.
