A former substitute teacher in the Rockford public schools is now charged with sexually abusing two students younger than 13. Forty-seven-year-old Nestor Estrada is accused of having sexual contact with a boy and a girl last year when he was assigned to the Riversahl Elementary School. He was suspended after parents complained, and a police investigation has now led to charges of aggravated criminal sexual abuse. Estrada was arrested this week and is being held on bail of 500-thousand-dollars.
