3 people suffered injuries yesterday evening following a 2-vehicle head-on collission in Route 64 near Stonehill Road in rural Stillman Valley.
Reports indicate that a car driven by 25-year old Risa Nishio of Des Plaines was west bound on Route 64 and was passing another vehicle in a no passing zone. Police say that the Nishio vehicle struck an east bound car head-on driven by 22-year old Seth Cupp of Oregon.
Cupp was extricated from his vehicle and was transported by ambulance along with a 2-year old child to Rockford Memorial Hospital. They are listed in stable condition.
Nishio was transported by ambulance to Rochelle Community Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. He was also ticketed for improper passing.
