Illinois legislators will have their income reinstated immediately following a judge's ruling. Illinois Comptroller Judy Baar Topinka is instructing her staff to issue paychecks to lawmakers after Governor Pat Quinn's decision to stop their pay was ruled unconstitutional. Quinn said he would suspend pay to Illinois lawmakers until they fixed the state's pension problems. Lawmakers were denied two paychecks and were on the verge of losing a third.
