An autopsy for 18 year old Jonathan Williams of Oregon was conducted Wednesday afternoon at the Winnebago County Coroner's Office. The Oregon Police Department has requested some additional medical forensic analysis. Police Chief Darin DeHaan says they do not have a time frame of when the results or the results of the autopsy will be completed. They appreciate the patience of the family as well as from the community while they conduct an extensive investigation into the incident. DeHaan added that they feel they have a pretty accurate picture of the sequence of events surrounding the incident and they are working diligently to finalize the investigation.
Jonathan Williams died following a party and fight that took place early Saturday morning in the 800 Block of Monroe Street in Oregon. Oregon Police were called to the scene at 3:16 Saturday morning, and then called back at 8:19 at which time Williams was unresponsive and transferred to a Rockford Hospital. He died on Sunday.
