Ogle County Deputies investigated a two vehicle accident Tuesday at the intersection of Route 72 and Fork Creek Road. A vehicle driven by 67 year old Dixie Bardell of Ridott passed a farm tractor driven by 35 year old Fred Gunderson of Shannon. The tractor turned at an intersection and turned in to the vehicle causing damage to both units. Bardell was transported to Freeport Hospital for minor injuries, the accident remains under investigation.
Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested 25 year old Saul Jimenez of Shannon last night for Driving While License Revoked. Jimenez was transported to the Ogle County Jail and held in lieu of bond.
Also last night, Ogle County Sheriff’s Deputies conducted a traffic stop on I39 at Mile Marker 108. After an investigation Deputies arrested 27 year old Daniel Abshari of Berwyn for Driving While License Revoked and Speeding. Abshari was transported to the Ogle County Jail where he was held in lieu of bond.
A Rochelle man was arrested by the Ogle County Sheriff’s Department on Tuesday. 23 year old Zachary Nelson was arrested on an outstanding Failure to Appear Warrant. Nelson did not post bond and will appear in court at a later date.
