Rochelle Community Hospital celebrated 100 years of healthcare Saturday as they held an open house for area residents. Hundreds of people attended the event with numerous activities at the hospital.
CEO Mark Batty was pleased with the turnout this past weekend. Activities are the hospital included a petting zoon and face painting for the kids along with a Mega Body exhibit.
The Rochelle Police and Fire Departments were also at the hospital showcasing their equipment along with the Lifeline Helicopter.
Area residents were also agle to tour the hospital and view their various departments.
Batty stressed the importance of a local hospital for the community.
RCH physicians and nurses were also part of the event on Saturday.
