A pay raise for the City Manager along with a new phone system tops the agenda this evening for officials in Rochelle. The meeting begins at 7 at City Hall.
The Council expects to approve a 2 percent pay increase for City Manager David Plyman. His yearly salary will be $124,850.
Plyman has been City Manager since May 31st of 2011.
The new phone system for the city and Rochelle Township High School will cost just over $133,000. RTHS will pay just under $55,500 over a 5-year period for the service.
City officials also plan to approve several appointments to boards and commissions along with a request to have a country concert at the Municipal Airport on August 24th.
Tonight's meeting at City Hall is open to the public.
