The 19th annual "Relay for Life" event will take place tomorrow in Rochelle at the Helms Athletic Complex. This year's theme is "1950's Cruisin for a Cure" as area residents raise money for the American Cancer Society.
Last year, more than $48,000 was raised with several hundred people involved in the Relay.
The opening ceremony begins at 1 Saturday afternoon with activities scheduled until Midnight.
Some of the events include a Box Car Parade, a Live Auction, along with a dance contest.
A lumunary ceremony will take place at 9 in the evening as we remember those individuals who have cancer and the people who have lost their battle with the disease.
