2 tornadoes from this week's storm

The National Weather Service has determined that there were two tornado touchdowns among the strong storms that hit Illinois earlier this week. The more powerful storm hit about three miles southwest of Shabbona on Wednesday. About a hundred yards wide, it travelled a little more than two miles before dissipating. The other tornado hit near Manteno, in Kankakee County, Wednesday evening, touching down for just a quarter-mile, but collapsing a barn and killing a horse in that short time.
