A Mt. Morris woman was back in Ogle County court Tuesday for an arraingment following a drug bust at her trailer last week.
30-year old Natalie Soper was arrested on the felony offense of manufacture and delivery of cannabis. Police seized between 500 to 2,000 grams of the drug last Thursday.
The search warrant took place at Lot #54 in the Mt. Morris Estates trailer park. Police found about 4 pounds of marijuana along with digital scales and drug packaging material.
Ogle County Sheriff Michael Harn said that the arrest stems from a month long investigation in the Oregon and Mt. Morris area.
Rochelle police assisted in the arrest.
Soper returns to court on June 26th for a preliminary hearing. At that time, she will plead guilty or innocent to the Class 2 Felony offense.
She is out of jail following the posting of 10 percent of the $50,000 bond.
