Park officials in Rochelle met in special session last night as they approved the bids for projects at the Helms Athletic Complex and Cooper Park.
3 new tennis courts will be constructed on the north side of the Helms Athletic Complex at a cost of just under $165,000. This includes drainage work.
The district also agreed on a contingency figure of $16,500 if there is a problem with the project.
The bid at Cooper Park totals just over $46,000 dealing with the new playground surface.
Both projects are scheduled to be completed by the end of June.
Park officials met in executive session to talk about personnel. No action was taken.
