A Rochelle man was back in Ogle County court Wednesday for an arraignment after he allegedly threatened a male subject with 2 knives last Friday during a domestic confrontation.
No one suffered any injuries from the incident.
32-year old Matthew Bearrows of Rochelle has been arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of a weapon by a felon, unlawful use of a weapon, along with armed violence, aggravated assault, and disorderly conduct.
Police say that he allegedly threatened the male victim with the 2 knives. Also arrested during the fight was 21-year old Kayla Martin of Rochelle on the charge of domestic battery.
Bearrows returns to court on May 22nd for a preliminary hearing. He is out of jail following the posting of a $25,000 bond.
