School districts around the area and throughout the state are looking at some tough financial decisions over the next few weeks when they put together their new fiscal year budget.
Many districts will have to reduce their staff and others programs for students such has sports.
During yesterday's program "Let The People Know", Oregon School Superintendent Tom Mahoney talked about the financial status in his district. He said that the district is faced with a revenue deficit of nearly $500,000 for the next fiscal year. They cut 2 teachers from the staff earlier this month.
Fortunatley, no programs will be cut during the next school year in Oregon.
