Rochelle police arrested a local woman last night on drug charges after they found crack cocaine in her possession.
25-year old Lilian Zoss of Rochelle was arrested on the felony offense.
The arrest came about during a traffic stop on Route 38 at Phil Road in Rochelle. Zoss was a passenger in the vehicle. Police found the crack cocaine which was the size of a golf ball in her sock.
The driver of the car, 46-year old Dana Walker of Genoa, was also arrested on the charge of unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and driving on a suspended license. Police found a pipe in her possession.
The vehicle was originally stopped by the officer for having only 1 tail light working. The Rochelle K-9 Unit assisted in the arrest.
Zoss and Walker were both transported to the Ogle County jail in Oregon following the arrest. Zoss will appear before a judge later today when bond will be set on the felony offense.
