Ogle County sheriff's police have arrested a Rockford woman in connection with a residential burglary which took place earlier this month in rural Stillman Valley.
23-year old Amber Stearns has been charged with the felony offense of residential burglary.
The break-in occurred on March 18th in the 7,000 block of East Route 72, about 1 1/2 miles west of Stillman Valley.
Taken from the home was a TV set, a 12 gauge shotgun, along with a playstation game system.
Sheriff's police have recovered some of the stolen property in Rockford.
Stearns returns to Ogle County court on April 3rd for a preliminary hearing. At that time, she will plead guilty or innocent to the felony offense.
Stearns remains in the Oge County jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond.
