2 Rochelle residents sentenced to prison on drug charges

2 Rochelle residents will be doing some time in the Department of Corrections after they plead guilty yesterday to drug charges in Ogle County court.

The 1st case involves 35-year old Julia Hill. She plead guilty to 2 charges that involved the delivery and possession of cocaine.

The delivery incident took place on April 17th of last year within 1,000 feet of Railroad Park in Rochelle. It involved less than 1 gram of cocaine.

The possession arrest occurred on December 19th of last year involving less than 15 grams of the drug.

Hill received a sentence of 6 years in prison.

24-year old David Mack of Rochelle was also sentenced to 2 years in the Department of Corrections.

He plead guilty to the felony offense of unlawful possession with the intent to delivery cannabis.

The confrontation took place on October 25th of 2012. It involved between 30 to 500 grams of marijuana within 1,000 feet of Lincoln School in Rochelle.
