During last night's Ogle County board meeting, a resolution was approved to incorporate Whiteside County into the Lee and Ogle County Educational Service.
The Lee and Whiteside County boards have already approved the proposal.
Lee-Ogle County Regional School Superintendent Amy Jo Clemens said that the state mandated the move for several regional offices in Illinois
Clemens said that the consolidation will not go into effect until July of 2015.
The Ogle County board approved several road projects last night. They included bridge work on Haldane Road along with box culvert projects on Milledgeville and Chana Roads.,
No action was taken on the outside agencies health insurance premium surcharge. The county is considering a proposal of 19 percent for the 6 agencies.
